Join our Virtual Racing Team
Virtual racing with Dutch Diesel Cycling is fun, challenging, and a great way to be competitive. Whether you’re chasing a podium or just want a great workout, you’ll find a welcoming community and some of the best training you can do on two wheels.
How Zwift Racing Works
With a Zwift subscription, you can jump into any race on the calendar. But if you want your results tracked, ranked, and part of your racing history, you’ll need to create a ZwiftPower account and give Zwift permission to share your data. Once connected, your results will be recorded, you’ll see how you stack up against other riders, earn ranking points, and get placed in the right race category. After that, it’s simple – just pick a race through the Zwift Companion app or the Zwift events page and you’re ready to go.

How to Determine Your Category
Zwift races are divided in 4 categories and are based on the rider's FTP in watts per kilogram (w/kg). As you build up your history in ZwiftPower, your profile will show what category you should be racing in. You can join a higher category if you want to challenge yourself, but joining a lower category is frowned upon and most likely will get you disqualified if you go over the power limits of that category. Always visit ZwiftPower for the latest category and race rules, but today the categories are as follows:
A: 4.0 w/kg or higher
B: 3.2 – 3.99 w/kg
C: 2.5 – 3.19 w/kg
D: Under 2.49 w/kg
